Description
Japanese Porcelain Vase, dated 1916, as created by the ceramic artist Makuzu Kozan II (Japanese 1859-1940) who was highly acclaimed during his lifetime. This porcelain vase is decorated with chrysanthemum blossoms softly painted with underglaze cobalt blue. The glaze ground is palest green celadon in color. It bears the seal of Makuzu Kozan. The vase comes with a tomobako with inscriptions on the lid.
