Pair of Japanese Cloisonne Wine Cups, probably early 20th century in date, represent the cloisonne tradition in Japan. Made for the export market, the cups are stamped with "Made in Japan" on the base. Finely delineated floral and butterfly motifs accent the side of the cups. The cups are packed in a fitted wooden box with label from the Frank Deardorf Gallery in Santa Barbara, Ca.
