Martin Grant Black Wool Evening Cape

Label. Floor-length, Regency-style great cape with deep falling collar, turned-back revers from neck to hem held by round leather buttons, and reinforced slits for arms, lined with abstract floral patterned lurex lame.

54 in. center back.

Note: Andre wore this cape to the opening gala of the Martha Graham Dance Company at City Center in New York City on April 6, 2005, where he was photographed with the designer. He also wore it (draped inside out) to attend John Galliano's Fall/Winter 2007 fashion show in Paris on March 3, 2007.
