A VICTORIAN CHINOISERIE SILVER MUG
by Richard Martin & Ebenezer Hall, London 1879, of straight-sided tapering form, chased with a bird and butterfly amidst prunus blossom and two matted reserves, the front with an engraved cartouche inscribed Jeanne, inscribed on the underside From Uncle Billy. 9.5cm high, 5.7 troy ounces
The marks are clear. The tankard is generally in very good condition.
