1 ashes of roses crepe back silk satin w/ elaborate swags & ties, asymmetrical bias wrap overskirt, label “Meeley, 2012 Walnut St. Philadelphia, Chantilly #1057”, B 34”, W 30”, L 58” w/ 68” tails, (few scuffs, few small tears in net at collar, discoloration, 2.5” opening front left W, 0.25” dark stain CB bodice) very good; 1 pale pink crepe back silk satin evening dress, W panel twisted into decorative knot at CF below gathered & inserted diamond at CH, bias cut w/ inserted diamonds & bias inserted skirt, weights across CB interior, B 34”, W 32”, L 47”-53”, (shattering underarms, light discoloration & stains up to 4” around hem, frayed from lining removal at armscye & collar, 0.5” tear at lap seam) good. Deaccessioned by the Valentine Museum to benefit collections care, preservation and future acquisitions.
