An 18th century German Bracket clock attributed to Fidelis Meyer. 8-day spring driven time and strike movement with quarter hour Grand Sonnerie striking on two bells, Crown wheel escapement, Calendar hand, convex porcelain dial with Arabic numerals, false pendulum aperture, subsidiary Repeat/Silent dials and cast spandrels. Walnut case with Gilded cast Brass handle and finials on an inverted bell form top, single door with applied Gilded moldings on cast Brass feet. Older finials with wear and repairs, dial hairlines, running when cataloged. 23" high overall. ESTIMATE $600-800
