This exceptional early 19th century Sheraton mahogany serving table is attributed to Gillows. The table is constructed from the finest quality colored and figured mahogany. The shaped rectangular top with bowed front, bookmatched crotch grained skirt all raised on four boldly turned and reeded tapering legs. Gillows of Lancaster were renowned cabinetmakers of both the 18th and 19th century, their name became synonymous with quality design, workmanship and selection of the finest mahogany.
