Reads "Christophorus Columbus Ligur terroribus Oceani superatis alterius p[a]ene Orbis regiones a se inventas Hispanis regibus addixit. An. salutis VIIID" (Translation: Christopher Columbus LIGVR, having overcome the terrors of the ocean, he added to the Spanish kings the regions which he had discovered in almost another world. An. health VIIID') Single matted and framed. Discoloration and surface wear on paper. Framed is distressed.
