Item Details

Description

A forty-six page booklet plus fold out color map dated 1876 from the Pennsylvania Railroad Passenger Department titled The Centennial Exhibition and the Philadelphia & Erie and Pennsylvania Railroads. The booklet is taped along the spine into a labeled cardboard binder marked with a Pennsylvania Railroad Library call number and stamped with the embossed Pennsylvania Library seal on the cover. The booklet appears to be missing the back cover and the map has been taped to the library cardboard binder. The cover shows heavy signs of use with writing marks, discoloration, creasing, tears, and torn edges. The interior pages show mild to moderate staining and worn edges. The map shows tape repairs and a few stain spots. See photos for best description.
