Roman, Imperial Period, ca. 1st to 4th century CE. A set of 4 pottery vessels from the ancient Roman Empire. First is a petite terra sigillata cup with impressed stippling around the body. Three Additional bowls are in redware or buffware and are of utilitarian form. Size of largest: 7.8" W x 2.875" H (19.8 cm x 7.3 cm)
Provenance: private Bell Buckle, Tennessee, USA collection, by descent, acquired in Tunisia before 1969
