Roman, Imperial Period, ca. 1st to 4th century CE; Near East, Byzantine & Persian Empire, ca. 1st to 12th century CE; Europe, Medieval, ca. 12th to 15th century CE. A collection of copper, bronze, brass, and leaded bronze coins mainly from the Imperial Roman and Byzantine period, and some from later Persian and Medieval European eras. These coins could be used for crafting unique pieces of jewelry, or simply enjoying the fascinating history of the currency pieces. Size of largest: 0.97" Diameter (2.5 cm); smallest: 0.38" Diameter (1 cm); total weight: 255 grams

Condition
Coins range from Fine (F), Good (G), to Fair. Edge splitting and clipping to peripheries on some. Faces are rubbed and indiscernible on some, and others have clearer faces. Nice patina on many with rich mineral deposits. Great variety of sizes and types.
