1863 - 1890, the sugar bowl with first black mark and a further impressed mark, and inscribed in blue ''M0072203'', modeled as a conch shell supported on a pierced coral-form base, covered in an ivory luster glaze; the cream jug with partially rubbed mark (apparently first black), impressed ''Belleek Fermanagh'' and further impressed with a symbol, modeled as a nautilus shell with an applied coral-form handle extending to a naturalistic base molded with shells, covered in a matte ivory glaze; 2 pcs, the sugar bowl: 4'' H x 6.5'' W x 6.25; the cream jug: 4.75'' H x 6.75'' W x 3.25'' D, est:$500/700
Condition
Generally good condition. General marks and scratches commensurate with age and use. Cream jug with an overpainted restoration to spout and a few rough spots to surface of body (apparently a factory flaw). Sugar bowl with a small firing crack to one coral stem near foot and a small black mark to rim. Not a set; differences in glaze, as stated.
