Description
Late 19th / early 20th century, the hinged lid, front and side panels opening to reveal a lift-out tray with handle, fitted with dividers for four decanters and racks for 16 cordials, together with four gilt-decorated glass decanters with enameled labels, seven gilt-decorated glass cordials (each 2.75'' H), and four replaced plain glass cordials (each 3.25'' H), 14'' H x 10'' W x 10.75'' D, est:$2000/3000

Condition
The case in overall good condition with general marks, scratches and rubbed wear to surfaces commensurate with age and use. Shrinkage cracks to each side panel and to right front corner. The glassware with scratches, rubbed wear to gilt decoration, and a few scattered minor chips along edges. One stopper with heavier chipping to bottom end. Four cordials mismatched replacements, as noted. Two decanters lacking stoppers. Wooden support on right-hand rack loose; missing a screw. The decanter labels read: ''Crème de menthe'', ''Benedictine'', ''Apricot'' and ''Cointreau''. No key. Working condition of lock unknown.
