Description

A George I Style Open Armchair, by Century Chair Company, Hickory, North Carolina, Late 20th Century. With studded leather upholstery, the outspread shepherd's crook open arms over a compass seat, raised on cabriole legs, joined by turned stretchers, terminating in a pad foot with shoe.

Dimensions: Height 43 1/2in; width 27in; depth of seat 19 1/4in; seat height 19in.

Condition

Structurally sound. The leather upholstery is in very good condition overall. The chair frame with general marks, wear, scuffs, nicks and surface scratches throughout. Wear heaviest to armrests, knees and feet.
