A very rare wooden vessel with spirit mask face above vessel adorned with textiles, cowrie shells and mirrors, likely some type of divination object, and included is a wooden carved pointer object. Dan peoples, Liberia, West Africa. The vessel measures 13 x 9 inches. Provenance: Field Collected by William Siegmann in the 1960s, Liberia, West Africa. Also Ex Private NYC collection.
