Description
Important necklace composed of strands of pearls with drop-shaped gold pendants set with stones and a central flower-shaped gold pendant worked in the kundan technique and set with rubies and emeralds. The back finely decorated with champlevé enamels. Terminals similarly decorated with floral motifs.In the early 19th century Cartier began to produce necklaces of this type for the Indian market.
