11.5x4 Handwritten note on a fold-open page signed at the conclusion in black ballpoint ink by Shepherd Mead. The note is dated in 1993 and describes the paper photo that he writes the note on. In very good condition. (1914-1994) Shepherd Mead was an American writer and is best known as the author of How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, which was adapted into a hit Broadway show and motion picture.This lot came from the Jim Wiggins collection we purchased in July 2022. Jim Wiggins accumulated the most unique and valuable autograph collection over a period of 70-plus years. He obtained his collection either in person or by writing to persons of fame and notoriety.
