TEXTILES: Two embroidered clothing pieces, 20th C., the first a Manfredi Matador’s promenade cape or Capote de paseo, Spain, light green silk adorned with vibrant embroidered flowers in blue, pink, purple, red, etc. flank opening, on wide collar, and on back, golden metallic sequin edges, “Manfredi Sevilla, Jimios 34” label at neckline, scattered pulls to silk; along with Japanese silk robe, early 20th C., royal blue silk robe with technicolor embroidery, knee-length with high collar, multicolored floral and wave design to bottom, medallions throughout feature white crane surrounded by flowers and foliage, tie front closure, possibly hand sewn, heavier yellow cotton liner, visible understitching; wear consistent with age and use, sold as is.
