Description
Russian silver bouillotte - a kettle with a lid on an elegant stand with an alcohol lamp to keep the drink warm. The teapot handle and lid are inlaid with horn inserts. Both on the teapot and on the stand there are hallmarks of the master Ockerblom Gustav Magnus (1808-1872), the hallmarks of St. Petersburg with crossed anchors, and hallmarks of 84 silver standards. The stand also bears the stamp of the assay master with AT initials over the date 1849.
