It celebrates Tikal (founded in 416AD), the capital of the Maya Empire, which spanned Central America in the era from 1500 BC to 1500 AD. The decorations on the silver barrel plate and clip capture images of the advanced hieroglyphic language and monumental art of the Maya. New from antique stock, with an 18kts gold nib.
. Overall, the antiqued metalwork has a nice patina, with slight nicks, dings, imperfections and grooves evidencing the handwork of the metal parts. Thank you for your cooperation in making my service efficient and relatively risk free.
