Cross-stitch needlework in cotton on linen, 1830, of rectangular form depicting a church and a house surmounting a verse from the 'Sailor's Farewell,' Sweet, oh sweet is that sensation, Where two hearts in friendship meet, But the pain of separation, Mingles bitter with the sweet,' next to a couple, an urn of flowers, and a man and dog hunting fowl, ending with another verse 'There is no lasting pleasure beneath the light blue sky, The soul's unchanging treasure, Can only show on high,' the whole framed in barber pole and tree border, apparently unsigned, framed.
