A Veracruz Stone tenon or hacha Mesoamerica, Post Classic, circa 700-900 A human head with fleshy facial features sharply contrasting the deeply carved eye sockets -- perhaps once inlaid with shell or stone. It wears a headband with a thick, notched object tied at the front. The whole very finely carved from a dense stone. With a custom stand.
