A dramatic poster featuring the silhouette of a German soldier with a moustache, gun, and distinctive "Pickelhaube" spiked helmet grasping the arm of a young girl superimposed over flames. Liberty Loans and war bonds were the US government's way of raising much needed funding quickly for the war effort. Issued 4 times throughout the war and a fifth time in 1919, the scheme raised over $17 billion.
Condition: Light creases and cracking throughout.
