Circa 1770-80, N.E. with dovetailed case, slant lid with thumb molded edge and bread-board ends, open to column of two small dovetailed central drawers, flanked by two columns of larger dovetailed drawers , all with period brass knobs, over seven open compartments with scroll cut top aprons, over four graduated oxbow dovetailed drawers, all with stamped oval brasses with bale handles and matching escutcheons, lovely scroll cut bracket feet, in nice old varnish finish, white pine secondary wood, 43 x 23 1/2 x43" high, writing surface at 33 1/4". Condition exterior brasses old replacements, else Fine.
