The amp has a gold label reading, "This Equipment Property of: Elvis Presley Show c/o MGM Studios Culver City, CA 90230". The lot includes a letter of authenticity from Elvis collector and historian Joseph Kereta, stating that the item was acquired from Billy "Cat" Ferguson who was one of the employees responsible for transporting stage equipment from early 1969 to early 1970s. The letter states in part, "Colonel Tom Parker had offices at MGM Studios and would keep such equipment and promotional items in storage there during these engagements and tours." The speaker is 12 x 12 x 7 inches and was a portable used for the dress rehearsals due to its weight.
