Description
A mid to late 19th century gold foil back near colourless gem foliate brooch, with snake-link tassel.Length 6.2cms. 9.2gms.
Condition
Replacement/repaired brooch fittings. Later safety chain. General small marks and discolouration.Reverse of central panel shows cracks/tears and dents, damamges to the central panel, not immediately visible to the front of the piece. Kite registration mark, year date letter obscured.Gems are foil back and appear a well matched slightly bluish grey.Unable to ascertain gems due to setting restrictions.Most gems with minor to moderate chips.Free virtual viewings are available by appointment.
