Tiger Tongue Silver Ingot, apprx 3"L. Apprx 59.12 grams. Hand poured silver ingot, (also called Lat money) from the ancient Lan Chang Kingdom in South-East Asia; ca. 1500-1800 cen. presently Thailand and Laos. Most of these heavy silver bars were chopped-up for trade or melted down in the 20th century. From the collection of Juliane and Philip Lynch, Shaker Heights, Ohio.
