1693 Irish William Temple Essays Gardens of Epicurus Sharawadgi Poetry 2v SET

covering Sweden, Denmark, Spain, Holland, France, Flanders, England
“On the Commerce of Ireland”
“Current state of business affairs of October 1693”
“Essay on Moxa a cure for gout”
“On the Gardens of Epicurus”
This famous work is known to be the first work to introduce the term sharawadgi – the origin of English landscape garden movement. This essay came from Temples seclusion from the busy world, not entering into public places for years.
