A Lakota (Sioux) beaded saddle throw
Of hide construction, with geometric beaded panels on each end separated by a thin red trade cloth panel along one side, with a split in the center for the pommel, hide fringe along the edge of each side and the back edge of throw.

Good condition overall with general dust accumulation/soiling, and spots of liquid drips/soiling commensurate with age. Wear, dryness and losses to the fringe. Losses and holes to the trade cloth and losses to hide border around the panel. A handful of scattered lost rows of beads, including a couple of 3/4in x 1/2in sections. A few scattered small holes to the hide, primarily along the forward edge/crease. A 1 1/2in x 1/2in section of blue beads on one panel likely replaced.
