18th century hand colored engraving published by William Lane, titled "View of the West Bank of the Hudson River, 3 miles above still water, upon which the Army under than command of Lt General Burgoyne, took post on the 20th Sep 1777...". Framed measuring a total of 11" tall x 18.25" wide and 3/4" thick. Engraved image measures 7.75" tall x 15.75" wide. Condition: a series of vertical and horizontal creases to paper, normal toning and signs of age, signs of wear and age to frame finish, see images. Weight: 2 lbs.
