Rare John Scharf, Selinsgrove, PA Cherry Shelf Clock. Circa 1835. (Born December 12, 1778 in Aurora, Switzerland, Died January 19, 1859 in Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania). 30-hour brass movement with cornucopia and fruit hand-painted dial. Glass tablet not original. (probably would have had a mirror tablet). 32-1/2"h. x 15"w. x 5-1/2"d.

Condition

Very good. Replaced tablet and hinges.
