A Rare 19th century Joseph Ives first model wagon spring shelf clock. 8-day brass time and strike movement with painted metal dial signed "Joseph Ives, New York". Mahogany case with circular top and Brass bezel, half round canter section with turned columns and lower door with eglomise panel on squat turned feet. Older refinishing with slight wear, older dial and eglomise panel restoration. Runs momentarily when cataloged. 28 1/2" high. ESTIMATE $8,000-12,000
