FIFTEEN U.S. BUTTONS
American, 19th century. Fifteen (15) assorted buttons consisting of three (3) topographical engineers coat buttons; two (2) United States Life Saving Services buttons; a topographical engineers cuff button; a Sanitary Commission button; a U.S. Marshall cuff button; a Victorian Signal Corps Staff Officers button; an Ordnance eagle over crossed cannons button; a Waterbury "W" eagle button; a 1851 "Kossuth" political button; a Massachusetts Militia button; a Victorian New York State 22nd Auxiliary Militia button; and a Spanish/American War Veterans button (open back).
From the Collection of John F. Bradbury, Jr., longtime archivist and director of the State Historical Society of Missouri?s Rolla Research Center in Phelps County. John was a historian specializing in the Civil War period with a dedicated and distinguished career to studying and promoting the history of the Missouri Ozarks region.
