American, 19th century. Fifty (50) relics in tray consisting of thirty-six (36) assorted buttons, a U.S. buckle, a partial crossed sword insignia, and thirteen (13) additional miscellaneous items including buckles and hooks.

From the Collection of John F. Bradbury, Jr., longtime archivist and director of the State Historical Society of Missouri?s Rolla Research Center in Phelps County. John was a historian specializing in the Civil War period with a dedicated and distinguished career to studying and promoting the history of the Missouri Ozarks region.
