A Pennsylvania Girlhood Silk on Linen Needlework Sampler, Wrought by Margaret Sheneberger (1797-1880), Whitpain Township, Montgomery County, Dated 1811. Inscribed "The happiness of human kind / Consists in rectitude of mind. / Margaret Sheneberger / 1811".

Dimensions: Sight 15 3/4 x 16 1/4in; Frame 17 1/4 x 17 3/4in.

Provenance: Thence by Family Decent to Present Owner.

Condition

Framed and Glazed. Not examined out of frame. With heavy wear, stains and losses overall.
