Description
Southeast Asia, Burma, Laos, or Northern Thailand, Kon-baung, Colonial, Luang Prabang, or Bangkok period, ca. 19th to mid-20th century CE. Blackware water vessel presenting an ornate silhouette with elaborate, incised decoration. The multi-tiered vessel boasts vertical striations that accentuate each of its bulging registers and applied ridges creating sharp edges along the curved shoulders. Size: 6.8" Diameter x 10.9" H (17.3 cm x 27.7 cm)

Condition
Professional repair and restoration to neck and rim; all done expertly and difficult to notice. Chipping to shoulder as well as nicks and abrasions to surface as shown. Good remaining detail and light earthen deposits in recessed areas.
