Vintage Meiji Japanese Carved and Inlaid Shibayama Bamboo Cane / Umbrella Holder. This is carved bamboo stick which is inlaid and depicts a Samurai Warrior, along with mother of pearl flowers. The actual bamboo stick measures 20.25" H x 5.5" W, it sits atop a solid wood carved base that measures 9.5" in diameter, the weight of the entire piece is 11.5 lbs. There is some age damage to the piece, missing wood and chipped MOP on the flowers. Please refer to all photos. Overall in good condition.
