Fine Austrian ceramic sculpture of a girl by Johanna Meier-Michel (1876-1930's) for the Wiener Kunstkeramische Werkstatte of Vienna. Circa 1910.

Signed underneath the base with impressed marks including WKW. Hand-inscribed on the back of the base, Johanna Meier Michel.

Depicting a figure of a young girl holding large bouquets of flowers. Details are finely hand-painted, under the glaze, in an inky black - dark blue on a finely crackled creamy white background. The facial features are expressive and the painting of the hair, flowers and other features finely executed.

Height - 9.5" (25 cm)

Weight: 1 lbs 8 oz.

PROVENANCE: Hollywood, CA estate.

CONDITION: Excellent condition with no damage or restoration.
