Legal document signed by John Hart, a member of the Continental Congress (from the colony of New Jersey) and a signer of the Declaration of Independence. The note is dated March 25, 1776, for eighteen pence (one shilling and six pence) numbered 12320. It measures 2" ? 4", and is signed on the front by Hart in dark ink.
