Signed with the artists monogram and dated Aug. 9, 1918, lower right. Titled: Port Washington, L.I. (bottom center, hidden by the frame - see photos).

PROVENANCE: New York estate.
CONDITION: Good condition with no damage or restoration. Modern frame with light wear, as shown.
NOTES / REFERENCES: Edward Philip Browasky (American, 1868-1939) - Lived and worked in Newark, New Jersey, as well as in New York, Long Island and Massachusetts. He was listed as an "Artist" in the Newark, N.J. Business Directory for 1914 and as the Vice President of the Newark Camera Club in 1922. Painted landscapes, en plein aire, in the impressionist manner.
