Native American, Northwestern United States, Alaska, Inuit, ca. 19th to early 20th century CE. A lengthy walrus baculum bone known as an oosik or oosuk that was used as a hunting club. The walrus is an iconic Arctic animal, and they are famous for having the largest average baculum size of all mammals, the baculum is a bone found in the penis of many placental mammals. Fossilized or older baculum are often simply polished, since this bone is denser and harder to carve, and serve as clubs or handles for harpoons. Size: 19.75" L x 1.5" W (50.2 cm x 3.8 cm)

Old losses to both ends as shown and minor surface nicks and abrasions. Natural ossification and pitting to interior. Surface is smooth and highly polished.
