Description
A rare 17 x 11 x 7.5 in. U.S. Signal Corps radio receiver, made by Zenith ca. 1950s. The metal plaque on the bottom indicates this is a model ‘R-520/URR’ with serial number ‘3742’. This receiver is a modified military version of the H500. Zenith was contracted to make these for use by the troops and their families during the Korean War and the Bay of Pigs operation. All original knobs and buttons, contained within a black leather case with carrying handle. Has not been tested.
