Lot of (3) Pieces of Gripoix Style Jewelry in the Style of Chanel and Maison Gripoix to Include (2) Necklaces and Large Starburst Brooch
For your consideration are (3) beautiful pieces of haute couture costume jewelry to include (2) necklaces and an oversized brooch. The oversize starburst brooch carries on the gripoix tradition with beautiful faux pearl, emerald and carnelian resin cabochons set in an intricate frame and accented by brilliant clear rhinestones. The brooch measures 3 3/4" in diameter with no marks noted. The next necklace is a weighty single-strand gold chain upon which 9 large, dimpled emerald green resin cabochons sit in golden frames. The size of each cabochon alternates between 1 3/4" and 1 1/4" in diameter. This necklace carries a gold hang tag for "Catwalk Jon". The total length of this necklace is 20" with the ability of being adjusted down to 17". The final offering in this lot is a 3-strand, graduated gripoix style necklace. This necklace is made of same colored, back-to-back cabochons giving the effect of one large gripoix-style spherical bead. These cabochons really pick up light effortlessly and its double-sided design is a delight to watch in motion. The shortest strand of this necklace measures 16" in length while its longest measures just under 18" in length. No markings are noted.
