Description
This is a lot of three switchmans lanterns from Eastern railroads for part or restoration. They are, from left to right in the main photo, a rare Lehigh Valley Railroad lantern made by the RR Signal Lamp and Lantern Company of New York, which looks to have an 1880 patent on the chimney. It has solid metal and just needs to be derusted. The rim is cast with L.V.R.R. Needs a burner, fount, globe, and lid clip. The second lantern is from the New York New Haven and Hudson River Railroad, and is cast on the rim with N.Y.N.H. & H.R.R.R, but the top is very pitted and holed. The rest of the lantern body is very nice, and has an original fount and brass burner, but needs a globe and globe retainer. The final lantern is from the Southern Railway, is an Adlake Kero, and is cast with SOUTHERN RY. on the rim. It needs a globe and a burner.
