Description
Henri Toussaint (French, 1849-1911) after Eugene Delacroix (French, 1798-1863). Etching on laid paper titled "The Coast of Morocco" depicting a boat set on tumultuous seas with a distant coastline. After a ca. 1853 work by Delacroix, more likely depicting the biblical scene of Christ on the Sea of Galilee. The print is from Albert Wolff "Cent Chefs-d'Oeuvre: The Choice of French Private Galleries." Paris: Georges Petit and Ludovic Bashet, 1883. Distributed by Knoedler & Co., New York.

Condition
The sheet is toned; there is a slight uneven toning to the margins of the sheet. Light undulation to the sheet. Light wear to the deckled edges. There is a horizontal tear extending 1/2 inch inward from the upper left edge. There is a small loss to the lower left corner. There are creases along the left edge. There is a crease along the lower right edge as well. There is a slight loss along the lower right corner. The print is not framed.
