Description
likely attributed to the Hartsoe, Probst, or Reinhardt families of potters, large cream riser with dark and light brown glaze, rutile and cream highlights to interior and exterior of jar, tooled rim, 8-1/2 x 13 in.; olive green alkaline glazed jug, rutile highlights behind spout and down side of jug, incised banding at belly and on angled neck, ridged shoulder, applied ridged strap handle, ridged neck, flat rim, 12-1/4 in.

Condition
glaze voids and anomalies as made, cream riser with small 1/2 in. rim chip, and small 1/2 in. firing blowout to rim edge likely as made, other firing blowout to lower body of glaze likely as made, firing lines in glaze as made, otherwise good condition, jug with 1/2 in. rim chip, other tiny rim chip and rim edge wear, surface abrasions, two glaze chips to right side of handle, pebble blowouts and chips to body of glaze, stabilized hairline around majority of base edge, base edge wear and minor chips
