Co., Forestville, Conn., "Briggs Unknown Rotary No. 4", novelty timepiece, wooden base, paper on metal dial, spear hands, thirty hour, spring driven brass rotary pendulum movement, (2) Horolovar Co., Bronxville, New York, Briggs Rotary reproduction, novelty timepiece, wooden base, paper on metal dial, spear hands, eight day, spring driven brass rotary pendulum movement, c. 1980, (3) Parker Clock Co., Meriden, Conn, "No. 11" desk timepiece, cast brass case with trinket tray, ivorene dial, spear hands, thirty hour, spring driven brass movement.
Condition
(1) ebonized wood base and brass movement are in good condition with original feet, replaced paper dial, original hands, replaced glass dome as it has a rough edge. (2) brass and wood case in good condition with original paper dial, hands, dome and pendulum ball, movement is signed. (3) these timepieces were originally finished with a gold wash that now has been rubbed to mostly brass, this clock is otherwise in good condition, with a good ivorene dial that has developed cracks. Rear winding key and set stem are built in and still intact. Hands are original. Movement is currently not running., ACCESSORIES: Two Domes, circa 1875
