Description
Pair of Chinese Export 'Leaping Pekinese' plates, in blue, white, and iron red, each centering a leaping Pekingese framed by reserves depicting auspicious birds including, flying cranes, a pair of doves, and a parrot, all on an iron red trellis ground, apparently unmarked, each retaining an H. Moog label. Note: A similar pair sold at Christies, January 25, 2010 lot 2287.

Condition
Both with glaze and manufacturing imperfections, one plate with (2) 1/8" chips under the rim, not distracting, both having minor wear and marks to Pekingese.
