Description
Group of three Chinese Export armorial porcelain plates, circa 1720 and 1740, comprising one small round plate (diam. 8.75") with the 'Pitt and Ridgeway' hand painted coat of arms and a pair of chargers (diam 11.25") having hand painted Vernon combined or impaling Purnell coat of arms, having no apparent maker's marks to back, two with Christie's lot tags.
Provenance: All three acquired from Christie's, sale 2671, January 28, 2013, lot 470; from the Private Collection of Sherwood Preece, Atlanta, Georgia.
