WILLIAM A. WILLIAMS, ALEXANDRIA, VIRGINIA / WASHINGTON, DC COIN SILVER SUGAR TONGS, fiddle handles with pointed shoulders, having oval grips and engraved "JF" initials to end. Impressed twice with "W.A.WILLIAMS" maker's mark for William Alexander Williams of Alexandria, VA (active c. 1809-1834) and Washington, DC (active 1832-1846), who also apprenticed in Baltimore, MD (active 1800-1807). Total weight: 1.425 ozt. First half 19th century. 6 1/4" LOA.

Condition
Good overall condition with some wear, surface scratches, and nicks, one handle with a moderate bend/dent and corresponding grip with slight bending, end with a few dents, a few other minute/minor dents.
